OsmAnd is a turn by turn navigation application for Android Devices with online/offline features.
The project has the aim to make navigation available for all and for free.
That's why we are using Open Street Maps data provided by enthusiasts.
Currently application could be used in the following cases :
- If you want to visit town as tourist by foot and you don't have internet, you can prepare map at home and use it.
- If you are osm contributor, you can open/create osm bugs, edit POI.
- If you are living in the countryside, you can search hamlet, lake, house (street/number),nearest opened restaurant or closest public transport.
- If you want simply navigate to the point specifying lat/lon coordinates and save your track.
- If you want to save your favorite points.
- If you want use online routing (require a few of the internet data).
- If you want to navigate using existing GPX file.
